Rundle CEO Accused of Pressuring Popular Networks to Remove Image Showing Him Performing Fascist Salute
Richard Hauk, CEO of the Rundle megacorporation, has been accused in a new report of attempting to suppress a viral image that appears to show him performing a Sieg Heil salute. Rundle Inc. representatives denied the image’s authenticity, calling it “completely artificial.”
Reposts and reactions to the image went viral on SolNet, Nimbus, and Kaleidoscope—popular networks in the Local Supercluster and the Sea of Clouds. Several high-traffic posts were removed, and thousands of accounts that engaged with them received 72-hour bans.
Mr. Hauk reportedly contacted several of the networks' owners directly. However, a statement from SolNet claimed the takedowns were consistent with existing moderation policies and were not influenced by any third party.
