Fascist Mercenaries Hit Red Orchestra In Starport Attack

The Emerald Garden, an independent station known to cater to freelancers and fringe operators, has become a warzone after being boarded by the Tenth Legion PMC. Sections of the sprawling starport are known to house elements of the Red Orchestra, an anti-fascist guerilla movement.

These areas have become centers of heavy fighting, while station authorities issued contradictory and confused statements—alternately legitimizing and condemning the presence of Tenth Legion mercenaries on the Emerald Garden.

Our Analysis: The “Red Orchestra” refers to a united front of anti-fascist guerrillas and may represent the largest non-state actor in the Orion Arm. The group is known to make heavy use of the Ular Ketawa, a notorious smuggling route anchored by the Emerald Garden.

Though largely unaffiliated with the USSR or Comintern, Red Orchestra cells operating in the Ular Ketawa are believed to maintain closer ties with Soviet intelligence and are likely involved, knowingly or unknowingly, with communist shadow fleets.
